Afternoon Tea

Big thick dollops of clotted cream. Berry-red jam. Hot-buttered crumpets. A freshly-brewed cuppa. We do love a good afternoon tea here at the Manor.

Taking time out to enjoy the little things is what holidays are all about. Lounging. Loafing. Lolling. Whatever you want to call it, there’s no better way to slow down, take stock and celebrate the simple things than with a lazy afternoon tea.

On the lawn

No trip to Cornwall is complete without a cream tea. With gulls wheeling in the sky overhead and the tang of salt in the air, our award-winning subtropical gardens are the perfect setting to take time out to indulge your jam-and-cream cravings.

Sit back, relax and savour some scrumptious scones piled high with lashings of fruity jam and clotted cream. All washed down with a lovely pot of char. Ah, that hits the spot.

By the fireside

For the ultimate lazy winter afternoon, get cosy by the roaring log fire in our elegant Lounge. Snuggle down and wile away a few hours with cake and hot buttered crumpets.

Teatime reading

If, like us, you’re partial to a good book, why not indulge in a spot of teatime reading? You’re on holiday after all. Have a gander in our Library and reawaken your inner bookworm. Find yourself a cosy nook, pour a fresh brew and lose yourself in a tome from our lovingly compiled collection.
